Goal

The primary goal of the Morey’s SeaPak website project was to undertake a comprehensive rebranding effort, revitalizing the digital presence of Morey within the SeaPak family. With a focus on enhancing brand identity and customer engagement, our intent was to create a fresh and inviting online platform that reflects Morey’s legacy of culinary excellence while aligning seamlessly with SeaPak’s overarching brand ethos. Through strategic design and content initiatives, our aim was to establish the Morey’s website as a premier destination for loyal customers seeking to explore and purchase Morey’s products from supporting grocery stores. By revitalizing the brand’s digital footprint, we sought to elevate Morey’s prominence and appeal, fostering deeper connections with consumers and reinforcing its position as a trusted purveyor of premium seafood offerings.

Approach

As the lead UX designer for the Morey website project, my approach was centered around creating a seamless and engaging user experience that resonates with the brand’s loyal customers. To achieve this, I began by conducting thorough research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of our target audience. Leveraging this insight, I embarked on journey mapping the entire user experience, meticulously charting the customer’s interactions with the website from initial discovery to purchase completion. This process enabled me to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, guiding the design process.

Next, I transitioned to creating wireframes that outlined the website’s structure and functionality, ensuring clarity and usability at every step of the journey. These wireframes served as the foundation upon which I built high-fidelity compositions, bringing the Morey brand to life through visually compelling design elements, intuitive navigation, and seamless interactions. Throughout this iterative process, close communication with key stakeholders ensured alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
